One of the most common trends amidst the teaming population of this day is a trap which little is known of as a trap. I choose to call it the carrot chase, because that is exactly what it is. It is crazy how easily the society will make anyone feel lazy who chooses not to fall into the chase.
If you are not employed by the government or a private organization you are definitely lazy or probably greedy; that’s the public view. But many never get to realize that the carrot dangling before them is but a facade. It’s a subtle slavery to work 9 to 5 just to get a pay check at the month end that is already over burdened with debt.
Many seek comfort and thus settle for a monthly pay but didn’t know it is those that take risks that become rich. It is the fear of starting out that has made many remain average, they prefer the sense of security that comes with a job. They keep chasing a carrot of comfort, but never make it to it till 35 years go by.
I’m not saying all of us should start a business or no one should put in for a job; I’m saying we should all learn to go beyond our suppose comfort.
Even as an employee, have a sense of trying out new waters, take risks, dare to cause a change, don’t just flow with the tide.
